Anyone know some good defensive spells for Cabalists? For WM and Cleric 09/16/2014 08:17 PM CDT

I am trying to hunt these but their fire attack keeps getting me, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hunt with a Bard casting GJ?

Not sure if GJ is on a scroll, but it'd be Elemental. Elanthipedia says it's signature, but also curiously says 'Basic difficulty for non-Bards.'

The 'basic difficulty etc.' thing is just a relic from someone including generic information about Intro spells in general back when it was listed as a non-signature spell. I've gone ahead and removed the reference.

Are the Cabalists casting a spell or using a special attack? If its a spell a WM has more defenses than are strictly reasonable, but otherwise there's not much but throwing up an ES and wondering why it's such a terrible spell.

Does Grounding Field work on non-spells?
