It looks like these creatures aren't that difficult; however, how much swimming is required in this area (Fang Cove)?

not much unless you go into the area marked "deep" in the map, where sharks live.

Thanks - are the sharks tough? From Elanthopedia (in the description), they don't seem difficult, maybe a notch above Suw Bizars. I also don't see the Drowned Races on Elanthopedia, but they are on Ranik's maps:

Suw Bizars aren't worth it. They cap at 100, and are more accurate and hit harder than sand sprites. Just hop on the mammoth and fight sand sprites.

It's at the bottom, marked Drowned Ones. The races part is just a marker saying it they show up as various races.
