Anyone that's hunted in shalswars long enough is probably familiar with their naphtha special attack:

You fail to move out of the path of the curious-looking arrow in time, and it strikes your chest with tremendous force. On impact, the crystal bottle attached to the arrow shatters and douses you in copious amounts of naphtha, igniting with a massive WHOOOMPH!

You frantically run around in circles as the flames consume your chest!

I've gotten really good at stop, drop, and roll. However, often times the naphtha fails to ignite:

The naphtha soaking your chest appears to be evaporating.

Is there any way to remove the naphtha besides waiting out the timer? I've tried swimming with no luck.
