Fledgling gryphons? I'm at about 450 defenses and 300 offenses, and they're still teaching nicely.

Young gryphons. I can't get evasion to move beyond 10-15/34 or so. Everything else locks up nicely, but I need evasion to level and it has slowed down dramatically. Before 3.0 hit I could barely handle 3 young gryphons without getting tons of bleeders, but I would lock evasion in a heartbeat. Now evasion has slowed down and they rarely touch me. I've even started using heavy edge which is at 190 (woot melee mastery) just to have something else to train while evasion slugs along.

you might try bristle-back peccs in rossmans. you can hunt there. not sure on the wilderness /urban setting, but you might try the village with raiders also.

Have you tried altering your stances? With your skills, I would definitely be 100% Evasion, and divide Parry and Shield evenly?

You might be able to pull off maulers/warklins, but I'm not positive with 3.0. With Instinct and SOTT, you should be safe there.

warklins and maulers definately were one-hitting my thief in 2.0, i'll have to try them in 3.0 and see if i can do better, my necro can hunt there but she has more evasion.

Stay away from maulers, I'm taking lumps in their with over 600 defenses with forms and berserks up.

I messed with my stance last night and was able to get my evasion going. It took awhile, but it would lock. I just need another 25 ranks of evasion so I can reach the circle I'm aiming for and hopefully I'll get them off young gryphons. I also want to stay in there for a bit while shield catches up with my other defenses. I started training it after my return and having it 100+ ranks behind everything else bugs me.

Thanks for the info,
Pathyn

Young gryphons are still teaching evasion at 489, but the learning rate is staying around 1 or 2. I always target the fledglings first which boosts learning a bit since fledglings cap somewhere lower than 489.

I would say orcs in the manor but they spawn really..really slowly.

Do peccs cap higher than young gryphs? I think they teach worse.
