dark sprites... such a good concept that fails! 02/09/2013 08:57 PM CST
What I love about dark sprites is that they're a higher tier version of snow goblins located super close to Riverhaven.

But, here's what I hate about them, which has always made me shy away from hunting in the zone.

1) PW is an annoying spell. It keeps pushing me to missile range. I know it's not the worst thing ever, but it's a real annoyance to have to keep advancing over and over.
2) I'm fine that they cast PW and CoZ as much as they do, but they cast these spells so much (along with MPP) that they barely do actual attacks, which means they barely teach defenses
3) HUNT # doesn't work in the zone, probably because it's either a Premium area or a maze
4) The mobs don't spawning where you are. IMO, all zones should have their non-special mobs spawn around people, but this is extra annoying since the zone is so big, it's a maze, and you can't use HUNT # to even reach them.

I really love the idea of hunting these things, but those four things always ruin their appeal. I'd love to see them get adjusted, especially because they cover such a large range of training and is near a major city.

The teeth lands a solid (5/23) hit that pokes the teeth into Turul's rear end (more embarrassing than painful!).

Oh, one more!

5) They can search me out of hiding, but they don't train stealth at all. Go figure.

Isn't there a way to make this spell bring someone closer to you rather than pushing them away? It may be nicer to have them use this version instead.
