Lesser Skeletons

Hi. Would it be possible to increase the amount of treasure boxes these guys drop up in Dirge? Ive been here approaching an hour and not a single one has dropped. As a Paladin I feel kind of off bludgeoning the downtrodden of Crossings for boxes.
...oh yeah, and less corpse grubs, more skeletons! Thanks. :)

well... two hours here and not a single box dropped. Did I read elanthipedia wrong? I thought it said these guys dropped boxes.
Spawn rate was fine, too many grubs maybe, but I was able to kill lots of skeles.
Please look into it before I start my Undead Hunter cleric! Thanks.

epedia's as accurate as the data players can grab. It might not be correct. It's also possible that skeletons just drop REALLY few boxes. If you RECALL a critter, it should say if they drop boxes or not.
You might want to hunt zombie goblins out the north gate of Riverhaven or out the west gate of Crossing (past the inkhornes, their entrance is right by where you can go to burrowers) instead before moving to ghouls (which drop TONS of boxes IIRC).
Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

If you're F2P then also bear in mind the lower rate of box dropping that you get on top of any lower box drop rate that a critter may naturally have. I've noticed this on my F2P characters as well for certain creatures where I can hunt for a couple of hours and maybe get a box or two on naturally box shy creatures. Normally I'd expect to get about 6 to 8 or so in that time on a subbed character, for example.

I don't know what kind of LOOT option you're using, but make sure its LOOT ALL or LOOT BOXES -- that might also make a difference.

Thanks guys. Didn't know about loot options. I have just been using search skele after I killed one. Its what I did on goblin zombies and louts and they dropped boxes, but I'll try that.
Not f2p. I tried it when I came back to the game but didn't care for all of the restrictions. It's great that its an option, just not for me.
Hunted the zombies in haven for a bit, box rate was fine, but for whatever reason the spawn rate spiraled way down at one point.So I went back to Crossings.
I'll try the crossing ones and recall AND checking out loot options up in Dirg on the lesser skeletons, I want to see if that helps. I like the atmosphere up there, great for killing undead.

Don't use LOOT BOXES. It doesn't increase the chance of getting a box, but rather you only get boxes at the standard rate. It is more accurately an "pass on everything that isn't a box" command.
LOOT GOODS is what I use which is the same as LOOT by itself.

...in there now, using LOOT ALL. Still not a single box. I used recall to see if they are supposed to even drop them and indeed they are. It says. 'They are known for carrying loot in treasure boxes'.
Going to give it a full hour (20mins in now). Then move on to Crossings zombie gobs.
I'll switch to loot goods for the remainder of time I'm here, but I think it's broke...

Broken is a strong word, and likely not the case. They probably just have a very low drop rate like others have mentioned. Not every creature that has boxes drops enough to fill a bag. Particularly ones that exist with other skinnable creatures.

I suppose. But if things continue going the way they are, it will be 3 hrs without a single one, today. I was also up here last weekend just exploring for a bit. So, over 3hrs and no boxes.
