Any chance the spawn rate could be adjusted? It appears abysmal so far and the area is huge. This would be the perfect critter for me but constantly wandering endless rooms trying to find one is wearing on me.

Hunt in the central room and the spawn will be good. The room with all the exits that's just northwest of the flap. If someone's there then hunt in one of the neighbouring rooms and you'll at least get some of the bleed from them. I usually pick the room northwest of the central room since it has one addition non-portal exit.
