After some monitoring, it doesn't seem to be related to archons specifically, but using the HE egg / warhorn-like mechs to summon bonus creatures. Using it on cooldown, if you're dancing more than killing, can lead to a build up.
If we need to, we may have to cap or revise how those mechs work. For now, we'll continue to keep an eye on things.
