A) Empaths get a first aid bonus. And from what I can tell the bonus is 'Kinda a HUGE.' So her 80 ranks of FA are probably more like 130-150

B) First aid isn't the only skill that makes a difference. What's your skinning? Mech Lore? Her Transference?

The very fact that empaths use transference to remove leeches means that it's much, much easier for them to do it.
