Claymore Weapon Fatigue 05/01/2009 12:01 AM CDT
As much fun as I'm having swinging around my 90 something stone claymore, I still take a relatively large fatigue hit after each swing. I was wondering what stat primarily effects fatigue loss per swing.

I've got answers that its generally stamina, but I was wondering if strength plays any role in determining fatigue either, or is it just

strength = swing time
stamina = fatigue hit

stamina is the main factor.

Now, from what has been told to me by a few people when I was starting was that it was wise to keep stamina close to, equal to, or more than strength to manage the amount of fatigue you use.

My strength is 10 points higher than my stamina and I use a 96 stone Dwarven Battle Axe. I can tell you that in a few swings it completely draings my fatigue this way. However, I almost always berserk and the fatigue recovery assists greatly.

I certainly recommend you increase your stamina until you do not have the fatigue problems, or lower the weight of your weapon to something more reasonable.

Stamina helps with the fatigue. That's why with my chars I will train that up before I do strength, much as I enjoy having faster swings.
