Hello.
I was a ME user for a long time and now I've trained up my 2HE skill to around 160. I'm a Ranger and my STR and AGI are 40 each.
Any recommendations on any store bought / training two handers? Something that I won't be terribly upset with if it gets lost. It doesn't have to be a bastard sword.

You have a couple of choices. The Crossing twohanded sword is not bad, or the claymore available in theren.
The claymore is low/severe/heavy, dismally balanced, well suited, and well constructed, 58 stones.
The Crossing towhander is low/severe/moderate, poorly balanced, reasonably suited, moderately strong, and 60 stones.

An etched bastard sword with a bone-shaped hilt is a two-handed edged melee-ranged weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
low puncture damage
severe slice damage
moderate impact damage
You are certain that the sword is reasonably balanced and is reasonably suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the bastard sword is well constructed, and is in pristine condition.
incidental treasure from cursed quest, 45 stones. I think forged can be made at similar wts. i'd definetly suggest forged over the storeboughts as you'll get as good, if not better damages at lower wts and still maintain min rt. if you want balance, basties are still the way to go. for impact i like clays over 2 handers, and if you want pole ranged attacks, greatsword.

I would recommend the swappable axe from SCC. It really does nice damage.
The lightest 2HE polerange storebought is the flamberge in Haven at 80 stones.
