Hey all you masochists, er I mean sling users out there! I want to start stocking crafted sling ammo in my Trader shop, but only really want to devote one spot on my tables to sling ammo, so I was wondering which type would sell the best. Which ammo do people prefer to use the most, between the shards, spikes or balanced stones?

Shards are fair slice, fair impact (no lodge)
Spikes are fair puncture, fair impact (they lodge!)
Stones are moderate impact (no lodge)

I'm assuming that lodging is a negative, and that people would prefer either the shards or stones, yes? Also what's better fair/fair slice/impact, or moderate impact?

In my limited testing, I preferred the stones. The shards might come out ahead in circumstances where impact resistance is a factor, but that's few and far enough between to be a non-issue for me.

Stones it is then! Selling them at 5 gold per stack of 5 stones, everyone go buy them!

Also if anyone needs any of the other ammos I could make those for the same price, no problem

I found the spikes did a lot more damage against the creatures I tested on. This included armadillos and goblins. Granted, everyone hates lodging ammo, but spikes are all that I use.

The balanced stones are the easiest to hit with. I used them primarily for awhile, and comparatively they did more damage because I was hitting more often.

Now I have a bit more ranks compared to the critter I am fighting and I definately prefer the shards or spikes as they seem to do the best damage.

Elongated stones have the most impact but seem to perform the worst because of their balance.

I use the spikes, and want more of them.

Lodging teaches better than non-lodging.

Any Traders in the Crossing selling granite spikes or balanced stones? Didn't see any shops selling em tonight.
