>I have also added LOWER <item> GROUND or LOWER <item> TO GROUND. This allows you to place items at your feet! Should help with some of the fun crafting juggling folks get themselves into. I'll be taking FULL advantage of this for crafting soon...

You are amazing.

Kodius, when doing carving in mining areas, the item being created is treated like mined materials and rolls away/crumbles or whatever after a short period. Will this be improved with the foot slot?

You should be able to test this yourself by LOWER GROUNDing a left over crafting mat in a minable area.

I get what you're getting at, but my main concern is items being carved are being treated as just raw materials and decaying. I could test it, but time for bed! Maybe if someone is tooling around with it, try putting a nugget in your foot slot and see what happens? <3

<<[M]y main concern is items being carved are being treated as just raw materials and decaying.>>

I thought crafting materials needed to be picked up or deeded to remove the "decay" mechanic.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting folks to carve stuff without first trying to pick it up or deed it. I'll have to think of the best way to remove the decay effect when you begin crafting on it.

If I am using a non-lodging throwing weapon, and I try to get it, will it always default to the one in the feet slot?

For example, I have a throwing hammer. The creature I'm hunting uses some other kind of hammer. Sometimes after throwing my hammer, the creature will die and drop a hammer, putting it first on the list. Then when I go to GET HAMMER, it picks up the creature's hammer, which is a nuisance. (This is with the current live mechanics that have no feet slot, not the Test mechanics.)

Because it is technically worn, you should be able to use GET MY HAMMER to avoid that issue.

Thanks, Kodius. When I pick up/deed any rock materials, then go to a safe room in a mine to carve real quick, undeed/drop them, they decay pretty soon after. So even picking them up and deeded and undeeding them is not doing the trick. Same goes for deeded stone material from other mining expeditions well before that day.

I've not been aware of such a problem for the last year or two. Is anyone else having this issue? Are you seeing this in Prime?

I did a quick test and picking up OR deeding mined stone does remove the decay effect.

I was doing some stone carving in the adan'f mines a couple weeks ago and the items I was making were decaying. Belt buckles, etc. This was for several days. I'll test again soon.
