Interested in Auction item vs. Forged 02/17/2011 02:30 PM CST
Been gone for a while, wondering how my auction sabre compares to the current forged items besides the fact it's also a cambrinth item.

A polished steel sabre with an elaborate diamond-style basket hilt is a medium edged melee-ranged weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
heavy puncture damage
low slice damage
fair impact damage

You are certain that the sabre is reasonably balanced and is decently suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the sabre is a bit safeguarded against damage, and is in pristine condition.

The sabre is made with metal.
The sabre feels pretty light.
You are certain that the sabre is worth exactly 500000 kronars.
Roundtime: 16 seconds.

What is the weight on that?

I'm not completely positive because I didn't expirement with sabres too much, but I think the impact on that is a little above the current cap. (at least with heavy puncture as well)

Sorry just checked my notes and it looks like the cap is:

heavy/low/fair for forged sabres. However the balance and suite at that weight was poorly/decently.

So it looks like your blade is at the cap for damage but with a lot better balance and better construction

> get sabre
You get a polished steel sabre with an elaborate diamond-style basket hilt from inside your sky blue sheath.
> put sabre on count
You put your sabre on the counter.

Naissura hefts the sabre and puts it on the medium balance scale. She patiently adds small sacks of stones on the other side till the beam becomes exactly level.

Naissura squints at the balance beam needle and says, "The sabre weighs about twenty-three stones," and puts the sabre on the counter.

You pay Naissura and take your sabre off the counter.

Thanks for the info

<<twenty-three stones

Very nice. Damage, balance, suitability, and construction are all the same as a Fade sabre, but 6 stones lighter. Only thing off the top of my head that I can say is better is a rare metal sabre. Your sabre still compares pretty well against your standard weapon.

yeah very nice, basically that is almost a min-weight sabre with max damage.
