Thrusting Weapons 06/09/2010 08:21 PM CDT

Innuendo aside, me and a friend were having a discussion on puncture weapons and I was curious.

The Lunge/thrust/jab attacks are they puncture and slice or puncture and impact?

I think thrust and lunge favor impact over slice damage by a tiny amount. Jab is minimal for both. However, since this is a modifier on the damage rating of the weapon and jabbers tend to do very little impact damage, it tends to be insignificant.

46 stone sabre, mod/low/fair

Not sure what range of fair that is cuz I can't grind yet and pinpoint it, but that is potentially a good deal more impact than slice right off the block.

But grinding it for puncture will make it a more effective weapon. Just saying.
