I have a shield made of 100% haledroth that doesn't hit when using slam left while wearing the shield. It reacts like a weapon made of something other than haledroth.

I would like to add to this that gouge does not work either. I tried gouge with haledroth knuckles, haledroth lamellar gloves, and haledroth hand claws.
