After weeks of observing and listening and testing, we have implemented a few changes to the combat caps. The changes of note are as follows:

1) The caps on creatures have been extended to allow for a slightly wider window of experience gain in each area which should allow for more time (if desired) before having to move on from a hunting area. It should also decrease the difficulty of finding hunting areas which are both rewarding and enjoyable.

2) Along with the extended caps, they are now much 'softer'. This means, that when approaching the absolute cap, the experience gain will begin decreasing well prior to the cap and will reach more of a point of diminishing returns rather than suddenly stopping.

You should find this change to be in the favor of the players (and the combat system as a whole). All of your input on the situation was (and is) appreciated.
