This is implemented tho a bit buggy and being worked on as of this posting. Once its straightened out it WILL be working correctly.

News 16 reads:
Feb. 7, 2000 -- Injuries and Alchemy. A bug in alchemy, allowing persons to use alchemy commands while badly injured, was recently squashed. Before, you could crush, combine, etc., and get messaging that you were too injured, but were still able to complete the process. Now if you are too injured to perform alchemy commands, you will be prevented from completing the action.
