Removing People from the Guild 01/26/2002 12:56 AM CST
A long-needed fix was made to the REMOVE mechanics in the Crossing guildhouse and put in place tonight. People removed from the Crossing guildhouse by the use of the REMOVE verb will now be prevented from re-entering through the bard-only portals for a span of time based on ... well ... you'll figure it out on your own anyway, best not spoil it for you. <g> But it's not forever, and it's not five minutes, and that's all the hints you're going to get.

A bug in the messaging of removing people from the guild was fixed as well, so that it'll message the room as it should.

Needless to say, anyone abusing these mechanics in any way will be firmly squished by Harvey. Or have some other nameless torture heaped upon them. I am SO not kidding. The other GMs have been told this as well.

Any questions or problems with this should be posted in the appropriate folders.

And if I forgot anything, I'm sure Hoome'll remind me of what it was. <curls up and snores>
