TM and casting effectiveness 06/06/2011 08:35 AM CDT
I have at this time 268 TM with a certain character, and am fighting fledling and baby gryphon.

I notice of my casts at same, approx 1/3 are good hits, 1/3 are light/grazing hits, and 1/3 go wide.

How can I increase the ratio of good hits as opposed to how many go wide?

As I have never encountered this with mundane weapons.

Thanks.

What I did for that was increase mana, fully target and to switch from bolt to strange arrow. Not sure what spell you're using but increasing mana and/or fully targeting (if you aren't already) will increase accuracy and damage (might be that mana affects damage and targeting longer only affects accuracy, unsure). Or at least they seem to, I don't have anything to 'officially' back that up.

I do know that if I prep and target bolt (or footman's strike) and strange arrow in the exact same way I have more success with strange arrow.
