This applies to my beautiful dreadlocks as well, but I'd like to be able to weave things into my beard. Or shape into more then a goatee. I covet this:

I think beard and mustaches have a growth period that kicks in. Just my opinion as to why the braids come undone. Hair on your head doesn't have a timer to allow your hair to grow.
