Are you talking about a macro? I think that a macro can only perform 2 lines, right?

Macros can do more than 2 lines.

/p

I believe that puts a pause. So you could put /p/p/p to pause 3 seconds. Anyway. I don't know Aethereal Pathway else I could possible give you more.

/n is the new line command, I'd guess.

So you probably want something like...

path focus damage/ncast/npath stop

Would this work though? Are pathways insta-manipulated at full (any?) power, or does it take a little while to bend it to be useful to you?

A few samples of what I use:

\xpre lb 8\n\pretr\n\p\xpath focus damage\n\xcast\n\p\p\xpath stop\nretr\n

\xpre fb 7\n\pretr\n\p\xpath focus damage\n\xcast\n\p\p\xpath stop\nretr\n

\xpre fs 1\n\pretr\n\p\xpath focus damage\n\xcast\n\p\p\xpath stop\nretr\n

\xpre gz 4\n\p\p\xpath focus damage\n\xcast\n\p\p\xpath stop\n

\x clears the command line, so you don't accidentally mess up an important macroed command.

\n is the return/enter function.

\p adds a 1 second pause for each one.

You need the pauses between the cast and the path stop because casting a TM spell, which is supposed to be the only kind affected by the Pathways, gives a 1 second RT. One pause works only part of the time in my experience.

I need to update them for my current Pathways available.

The FS one is for situations where I didn't/couldn't remain at melee without serious risk.

Yeah, that looks familar. It's been like two years since I've been a regular player and to top it off I switched over to a mac. Thanks for the other suggestions as well.

\xpath f d\rcast\rpath stop\r

or

\xpath f d\rcast\r\ppath stop\r
If the the first is too fast for you.

Retreats.

Well, my statements copied to the board ork fine in my copy of Avalon/YASSE. ;)

And retr is short for retreat. I had to make that up in the "old days" when I was hunting in silver leucroes, and 2 3-packs came in at the same time or something, where staying at melee would get me killed. And I didn't want to leave the room.

These days, I haven't been hunting in a while, so I haven't checked the mana levels needed to use these things successfully, especially to learn TM, and I haven't adjusted it for a while for my current magical skills.

And it is \n for Avalon, where it is \r for Wizard. Both insert a return character in the macro for the appropriate FE.

>>premie players get 2 type aheads

They have an option to get another type-ahead line, which stays with them when they go back to Basic, so it is possible for a Basic account to have two type-aheads, or a Premium account to have three.

>>the command your looking for is

>>pathway focus accuracy/rcast/rpathway stop/r

Not quite. Pathways are for use with TM spells, TM spell casts cause 1 second of RT, so you need to put in a pause or two before the pathway stop:

pathway focus accuracy/rcast/r/ppathway stop/r
OR
pathway focus accuracy/rcast/r/p/ppathway stop/r

Top one is if you get enough latency to handle the potential fraction of a second extra that RT can last due to some sort of rounding by the game engine. The second one uses a bit more Resolve, but also makes sure that your Pathway is turned off, saving Resolve in the long run, IMO.

haha ya your right. ive written it that way a bunch of times and each time wa slike oh ya 1 sec rt oops lol.

Whats this about prmeie players bring back a type ahead to basic? i am on acount that was up to 7th year LTB but is basic now that i reactivated it. no extra type ahead, bust basic basicness.

so i ask. do you have to do something when u close/activate a premie acount to basic acount in order to get it? and 2. how do premies get a 2nd extra type ahead?

If you get the typeahead from the bungalow, it stays with your account regardless of account status. You will, of course, lose the automatically-gifted one when you downgrade.

it doesn't stay with the account, it stays with the character. i have the 3 type-ahead with schvartz but my other characters on the same account don't have it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: You're wrong. Maybe if you got it when it first came out this was the case, but if you get it now it works for the entire account.
