There's a new research topic available to Moon Mages, Warrior Mages and Clerics who are eligible and like tea. It may only be completed once a RL day. If you want to pursue high sorcery (which is illegal in town and dangerous!) after you've researched this first topic, the next day you'll want to continue with Sorcerous Research to unlock the next step. Note that, unless you are already a sorcerer or a Tezirite, your progress will be reset after a day without pertinent research.

Three new spells have also been released, available through research:

* Saesordian Compass [SCO] (Moon Mage) enhances single-target TM. Requires SOD or TV, and SLS.
* Aethrolysis (Warrior Mage) is a TM spell against extraplanar creatures. Requires 7 Electricity or Water spells.
* Aspects of the All-God [ALL] (Cleric) is a ritual spell bringing new Alignment options. Requires circle 20.

For those who wish to memorize such spells temporarily, they can still be found on scrolls, though more rarely than before.
