Minor annoyance: presumably because critters don't have "Features," you can't tell if a VOI has been cast on one.

(also on the subject of feature-altering spells, someone repair AC's cosmetic effects already. I haven't been able to scare newbies with it for like three years. Sadface. Is this completely intentional by this point?)

Sure you can. Just cast any TM spell at the target critter. If you hear a loud CRACK! as the Veil of Ice shatters, they had one, and if the critter is wounded or dead... they didn't. Simple.
