Is there a way to sell defenses? If so, how?

Nope. Can't even just take the loss and remove them. You place them, they are there unless the heroes destroy them. Well, except for the ones that destroy themselves, like bomb and rock drop.

Is that one of the Opal Observatory levels? I gave up on that campaign; got stuck about halfway through it.

Yes, I have two stars on the total campaign because I can't get three stars on that or the living wall one
